UX INITIATIVES

INTRODUCTION

DENSO implements a “UX-based development process” for carrying out consistent, customer-centric experience design from the initial development stage (planning) to the final stages (mass production and quality assurance). Experience strategies are formulated and both hardware and software approaches are used to turn product ideas into reality along with co-creation partners, leading to mass production.

Hypothesis formulation

We combine the business strategies of our co-creation partners with D-EXPERIENCE, the DENSO UX approach, to collaboratively create the UX direction that is perfectly tailored to the requests of co-creation partners.

Embodying experiences

The UX strategy includes the creation of an experience flow to be realized from the UX direction, experience mapping, a roadmap defining how to market and deploy the product, and requirement specifications.

Planning

Based on our UX strategy, we deliberate on architectures and system configurations for software and hardware, collecting our findings in service/system planning documents.

Defining requirements

We create prototypes based on these service and system planning documents, and then verify these prototypes using our unique methods. Together with co-creation partners, we create software and hardware specifications, leveraging our expertise founded on the DENSO UX GUIDELINEs.
